First Visit

To help reduce feelings of anxiety, we recommend you reassure your child that

no treatment will be performed unless absolutely necessary on their first visit.

Heather Anderson

Paediatric Dental Specialist

Heather Anderson has experience practising as a general dentist for 9 years before completing her post graduate Diploma in Paediatric Dentistry. She then continued her specialist paediatric dentistry training at the University of Otago, receiving her Master of Dental Surgery in 2003. Now Heather provides the best in dental care at DayOne Paediatric Dental practice in Christchurch.

Heather is a past President of the NZ branch of The Australia NZ Society of Paediatric Dentistry (ANZSPD) 2013 -2014, and is currently the ANZSPD Federal President. She is also a member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (MRACDS). She is a member of NZDA, AAPD, SPDNZ, IAPD, and IADT, and NZSFO

When not at work, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and cooking.
